The Health Council of the Netherlands has released a new report recommending the establishment of a “center of expertise” on health effects of electromagnetic fields and also made recommendations for proposed research studies designed to address “important gaps in knowledge and which questions should be answered first to meet public disquiet.” A copy of the executive summary is available in English.

These recommendations are a follow up to the January 2002 report by the Health Council of the Netherlands which issued a review of the current state of scientific knowledge on RF and health issues. In that report, the Council concluded that: “there is at present no reason for concern” and recommended further research be conducted. Source: Reuters
